HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, ORPHAN SUPPORT, COMMUNITY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENTBTC SENDS 40 FOOT SEA CONTAINERS OF MEDICAL AND EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, WHEELCHAIRS,BICYCLES,FOOD,CLOTHING, SHOES, TOYS, AND OTHER MATERIAL AID TO PROVIDE CARE TO POVERTY-STRICKEN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE CARIBBEAN ISLANDS AND CENTRAL AMERICA. THIS DESPERATELY NEEDED AID HELPS MAINTAIN HOSPITALS,CLINICS, SCHOOLS, ORPHANAGES,HOMES FOR THE EDERLY,AND DEPERATELY POOR COMMUNITIES. IN 2006, IN THE MICO QUEMADO MOUNTAINS OF HONDURAS,BTC BUILT A HIGH SCHOOL WHICH IS THE ONLY MEANS OF EDUCATION PAST 6TH GRADE FOR CHILDREN IN THIS REGION.EACH YEAR BTC PROVIDES SUPPORT TO COVER ALL EXPENSES FOR CHILDREN FROM 7 MOUNTAIN VILLAGES TO RECEIVE A HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION. ALSO, IN THE NORTH OF HONDURAS, BTC FULLY SUPPORTS THE ESTERO DE INDIO CLINIC SERVING 17 FARMING COMMUNITIES. BLESS THE CHILDREN HELPS SUPPORT EDUCATION, FOOD AND BASIC NEEDS FOR ORPHANED CHILDREN IN HONDURAS, NICARAGUA, AND KENYA. OUR FAIR -TRADE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT TO INDIGENOUS ARTISAN FAMILIES IN ECUADOR.
