THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE TO THE COOL BRANCH COMMUNITY OF FRANKLIN AND PITTSYLVANIA COUNTIES OF VIRGINIA. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY THE ACTIONS OF VOLUNTEER MEMBERS IN PROVIDING EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSIATANCE WITH THE FUNDS PROVIDED BY FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AS WELL AS GRANTS AND SUPORT OF THE COUNTIES OF FRANKLIN AND PITTSYLVANIA, VIRGINIA
