FAMILIES FORWARD'S SERVICES TO STRENGTHN FAMILIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF HIGH-QUALITY HOME VISITING, PARENT SUPPORT AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS ADAPTED TO THE CHALLENGES OF THE PANDEMIC. TRAINING CONTENT AND SCHEDULES WERE RECALIBRATED TO BE DELIVERED ON VIRTUAL PLATFORMS, AND AT A PACE AND SCHEDULES THAT ARE CONDUCIVE TO VIRTUAL LEARNING. THE FAMILIES FORWARD TEAM SUPPORTED HOME VISITING PROGRAMS AS LOCAL PROGRAM STAFF CONTINUED TO PARTNER WITH FAMILIES, ADDING VIRTUAL VISITS AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES TO MAINTAIN CONNECTIONS. PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS SHIFTED TO VIRTUAL PLATFORMS AS WELL, AND VIRTUAL ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES ENABLED MORE PARENTS TO SPEAK DIRECTLY TO THEIR LEGISLATORS, OVERCOMING PREVIOUS TRAVEL LIMITATIONS.
