THE PTA PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE SCHOOL THROUGH PTA FUNDED PROGRAMS AND PARENTAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. THE PTA PURCHASES INSTRUCTIONAL AND MEDIA MATERIALS FOR THE SCHOOL, PROVIDES VARIOUS HOSPITALITY FUNCTIONS FOR THE TEACHERS, AND HOSTS A NUMBER OF EVENTS THROUGHT THE YEAR, INCLUDING A STUDENT READING RECOGNITION PROGRAM, A CARNIVAL, AN AUCTION, A HOLIDAY SHOP FOR STUDENTS TO PURCHASE GIFTS FOR THEIR FAMILIES, AND DONUTS FOR DADS AND MOMS.
