THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF THE COLONIAL DAMES OF AMERICA IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA ACTIVELY PROMOTES OUR NATIONAL HERITAGE THROUGH STATEWIDE HISTORIC PRESERVATION, PATRIOTIC SERVICE AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS ESPECIALLY AT WILTON HOUSE MUSEUM.

PRESERVING, PROTECTING, AND SHARING WITH THE PUBLIC WILTON HOUSE MUSEUM AND ITS COLLECTION IS ESSENTIAL TO THE FULFILLMENT OF THE NSCDA-VA'S MISSION AND COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION, PRESERVATION, AND SERVICE. GROUNDS ARE OPEN FREE OF CHARGE TO THE PUBLIC DURING REGULAR OPERATING HOURS. NEARLY 6,000 PEOPLE A YEAR VISIT THE SITE FOR TOURS OF THE MUSEUM. ALONG WITH THE STEWARDSHIP OF WILTON, THE VOLUNTEER COMITTEES ADVANCE THIS MISSION ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH WITH MISSION-BASED PROJECTS IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES.
