TO ASSIST DESCENDENTS OF WORTHY CONFEDERATES IN SECURING A PROPER EDUCATION AND TO FULFILL OUR BENEVOLENT DUTY TOWARD SURVIVORS OF THE WAR AND THOSE DEPENDENT ON THEM.
