NHF MAINTAINS THE NAVYHISTORY.ORG WEBSITE AND SUPPORTS OTHER MARITIME WEBSITES IN SUPPORT OF NAVAL HISTORY MUSEUMS AND PROVIDES HISTORICAL CONTENT THROUGH THURSDAY TIDINGS NEWSLETTER & 2ND SATURDAY WEBINAR.NHF ALSO HOSTS SIGNATURE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO BUILD AWARENESS OF NAVAL HISTORY HERITAGE PROGRAMS. RECENT EVENTS INCLUDED AN OFFICIAL SUPERINTENDENT'S (USNA) LEADERSHIP & VISION AWARD'S DINNER, KNOX AWARD DINNER AND LUNCHEON, NATIONAL HISTORY DAY TEACHER DISTINCTION AWARDS, AND VICE ADMIRAL ROBERT F. ANCILLARY ACTIVITIES - NHF RECEIVES NEW BOOKS FROM VARIOUS RESOURCES AND MAKES THEM AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS AND GUESTS AS PART OF A BOOK REVIEW RELATED TO NAVAL CURRENT AND HISTORICAL STORIES, VIEWS, ETC. ON VARIOUS SUBJECT MATTERS RELATED TO NAVAL HISTORY.NHF PROVIDES INFORMATIONAL SERVICES TO ORGANIZATIONS, FAMILIES AND OTHERS SEEKING GUIDANCE RELATED TO HISTORICAL NAVAL DOCUMENTS, ARTIFACTS, PHOTOS ETC. NHF OPERATES A GIFT SHOP AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE U.S. NAVY IN SUPPORT OF THE MUSEUM AND TO HEIGHTEN THE VISITOR EXPERIENCE.
