THE MISSION OF THE MARYLAND 4-H FOUNDATION, INC. IS TO BUILD AND MANAGE THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO SUPPORT MARYLAND YOUTH IN REACHING THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL AS COMPETENT, CARING, RESPONSIBLE, INDIVIDUALS THROUGH 4-H.

THE MARYLAND 4-H FOUNDATION, INC. PROVIDES CRITICAL SUPPORT FOR 4-H PROGRAMS, 4-H SCHOLARSHIPS, AND FACILITIES SUCH AS THE MARYLAND 4-H CENTER AND THE THENDARA 4-H CENTER (CAMP). THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MARYLAND 4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND WE SERVE OVER 68,000 CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND IN PROGRAM AREAS SUCH AS THE HUMAN SCIENCES, ANIMAL SCIENCES, MULTI-CURRICULA PROGRAMS, NUTRITION EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES AND CAMPING.
