THE FOUNDATION IS THE EDUCATIONAL ARM OF THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPER ASSOCIATION. ITS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE NEWS LITERACY, AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY, ROLE AND CAPABILITIES OF COMMUNITY NEWSPAPERS AND COMMUNITY JOURNALISTS THROUGH EDUCATION.

CONVENTIONS: PROVIDE INFORMATION, SOLUTIONS, AND STRATEGIES ON CURRENT AND EMERGING ISSUES AFFECTING THE BUSINESS INTERESTS OF COMMUNITY NEWSPAPERS; PROMOTE NEW TECHNOLOGIES RELATED TO THE NEWSPAPER INDUSTRY.
