FACILITY ACCREDITATION: FACILITY ACCREDITATION ENSURES QUALITY HEALTHCARE IN ORTHOTIC, PROSTHETIC AND PEDORTHIC PRACTICES. THE STANDARDS PROMULGATED BY ABC ENCOURAGE BEST PRACTICES IN PATIENT CARE, SAFETY, PROFESSIONALISM AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE.
CERTIFICATION: ABC CERTIFIED INDIVIDUALS ARE CONSIDERED LEADERS IN THE PROFESSION AND PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY PATIENT CARE, ALONG WITH EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH AND DEVICE DESIGN. ABC CERTIFIED INDIVIDUALS MUST MEET STRINGENT EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS, CLINICAL TRAINING AND A COMPLETE ASSESSMENT OF COMPETENCY.
MANDATORY CONTINUING EDUCATION: ABC HAS LONG RECOGNIZED THE NEED FOR EFFECTIVE PROFESSIONAL CONTINUING EDUCATION.
