AMTA'S REGIONAL AFFILIATES PROVIDE EXTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, CONSISTENT WITH THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION. ANNUAL CONFERENCES, SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS ARE HELD IN ALL REGIONS AND ARE BY FAR THE LARGEST EXPENDITURE. THE NEXT TWO PROGRAM AREAS IN TERMS OF TIME AND EXPENSE ARE SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS, WHICH ARE ALSO WAYS IN WHICH THE PUBLIC EDUCATION MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS FULFILLED.GREAT LAKES REGION - AMTA1. CCBD COURSES/DIVERSITY TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY WERE SUCCESSFUL2. ONLINE CONFERENCE WAS SUCCESSFUL3. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND AWARDS WERE ROBUST FOR THE YEARMID-ATLANTIC REGION - AMTA1. MAR-AMTA REGIONAL CONFERENCE2. REGIONAL TOWN HALL IN SEPTEMBER & DECEMBER3. PANEL DISCUSSION - MUSIC THERAPY WITH OLDER ADULTSMIDWESTERN REGION - AMTA1. WE HELD A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE IN 2021 TO PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC THERAPISTS IN THE MIDWESTERN REGION.2. WE GAVE OUT COVID HERO AWARDS TO RECOGNIZE MUSIC THERAPISTS WHO WERE NOMINATED FOR CREATIVE ADAPTATIONS IN PRACTICE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.3. WE SPONSORED A FEW CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES OUTSIDE OF REGIONAL CONFERENCE THAT WE'RE OUT ON BY LOCAL MUSIC THERAPY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE REGION.NORTHEASTERN REGION - AMTA1. SERVICE AWARDS WERE GIVEN TO MEMBERS BY THE NER PRESIDENTSOUTHEASTERN REGION - AMTA1. SER HELD AN ONLINE REGIONAL CONFERENCE THAT INCLUDED SEVERAL CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. IN ADDITION, SER HELD VIRTUAL REGIONAL MEETINGS AND VIRTUAL REGIONAL BOARD MEETINGSWESTERN REGION - AMTA1.
