SUMMER DAY CAMPS: IN 2021, ICG PROVIDED 376 SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES TO CHILDREN. THE PURPOSE OF OUR SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM IS TO ENGAGE CHILDREN ENTIRELY THROUGH SENSORY EXPLORATION OF THEIR ENVIRONMENT, M-F, FROM 9AM-4PM, FOR 9 WEEKLY CAMPS THROUGH THE SUMMER. WE PROVIDED 113 CAMP SPACES TO CHILDREN IN HALF-DAY CAMPS FOR 3-5 YR OLDS, AND 263 SPACES IN FULL-DAY CAMPS FOR 6-9 YEAR OLDS.
GARDEN SITE: ICG MAINTAINS A 3-ACRE PUBLIC GARDEN SUPPORTING NON-FORMAL ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING THROUGH CASUAL VISITATION. THE GARDEN IS ADA ACCESSIBLE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, FREE OF CHARGE, DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. ICG ALSO HOSTS PUBLIC EVENTS AND PROGRAMS AT THE GARDEN.
GARDEN PROGRAMS: OUR PRESCHOOL MORNING PROGRAM OPERATED MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY IN THE MORNING, DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. THE PROGRAM SERVES 8 CHILDREN DAILY. IN THE FALL OF 2021, ICG BEGAN AN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM OPERATING M-F DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR, SERVING 18 CHILDREN DAILY.
