INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS 2022:1. PRAYER RALLY: THE 2ND "PRAYER RALLY FOR PEACE ON THE KOREAN PENINSULA" WAS HELD ON JAN. 9, 2022 IN KOREA. UPF SPONSORED THE PROGRAM, WHICH WAS ATTENDED BY MORE THAN 1,200 RELIGIOUS LEADERS, AND LIVE STREAMED TO ONE MILLION PEACE ADVOCATES2. WORLD SUMMITS: UPF ORGANIZED TWO MAJOR "WORLD SUMMITS" IN 2022 TO DISCUSS PEACE ON THE KOREAN PENINSULA AND OTHER CHALLENGES TO BUILDING A WORLD OF LASTING PEACE.WORLD SUMMIT: SUMMIT FOR PEACE ON THE KOREAN PENINSULA WAS CO-HOSTED BY UPF AND THE ROYAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMBODIA IN SEOUL, KOREA FROM FEB. 11 TO 13, 2022 ON THE THEME, "TOWARD PEACE ON THE KOREAN PENINSULA." WORLD POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS FROM MORE THAN 150 COUNTRIES PARTICIPATED IN THE WORLD SUMMIT. DURING THE 2022 WORLD SUMMIT GENERAL ASSEMBLY, HUN SEN, PRIME MINISTER OF CAMBODIA, RECEIVED THE SUNHAK PEACE PRIZE.SUMMIT 2022 AND LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN SEOUL KOREA ON THE THEME, "TOWARD A WORLD CULTURE OF PEACE," FROM AUGUST 11 TO 15, 2022. PARTICIPANTS WERE INVITED TO SIGN THREE PLEDGES: THE RESOLUTION FOR THE UNIVERSAL CHARTER OF PEACE, THE RESOLUTION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE AFRICAN CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AFRICAN UNION, AND THE DECLARATION ON THE UNIVERSAL VALUE OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.3. CONFERENCES OF HOPE: IN 2022, UPF CONVENED TWO "CONFERENCES OF HOPE," ON THE ISSUE OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND HUMAN RIGHTS. 1ST CONFERENCE OF HOPE HELD NOV. 12, 2022, IN SOUTH KOREA AND LIVE STREAMED TO MILLIONS OF VIEWERS GLOBALLY FOCUSED ON THE ISSUE OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND HUMAN RIGHTS.
