THE PARTNERSHIP FOR GLOBAL SECURITY (PGS) IS THE ORIGINAL PIONEER AND THOUGHT LEADER ON THE NEXUS OF CLIMATE CHANGE, NUCLEAR POWER, AND GLOBAL SECURITY. PGS HAS DEVELOPED SEVERAL DIMENSIONS OF ITS ACTIVITIES. THE GLOBAL NEXUS INITIATIVE (GNI) DEVELOPS ANALYSIS AND POLICY AT THE INTERSECTION OF CLIMATE CHANGE, NUCLEAR POWER, AND GLOBAL SECURITY. IT IS GUIDED BY A MULTINATIONAL, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY WORKING GROUP THAT INCLUDES REPRESENTATION FROM THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY, ENERGY, ENVIRONMENTAL, DIPLOMATIC, LEGAL, AND GLOBAL SECURITY COMMUNITIES. THE NUCLEAR READINESS INITIATIVE (NRI) IS A PROPRIETARY, MULTIDIMENSIONAL, AND ANALYTICAL TOOL DESIGNED TO PREPARE THE WORLD FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF NUCLEAR ENERGY AND SECURITY. ONE OF ITS CORE FUNCTIONS IS THE ASSESSMENT OF NATIONS THAT ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE POTENTIAL DEPLOYMENT OF NEXT-GENERATION REACTORS AND THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE GOVERNANCE CHALLENGES THAT MAY EXIST IN THESE COUNTRIES, AND HOW THAT IMPACTS NUCLEAR POLICY RESPONSES AND DEVELOPMENT.
