INFRE CONTINUES TO ADVANCE THE RECOGNITION AMONG RETIREMENT PLANNING PROFESSIONALS OF THE NEED FOR TRAINING, CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND A CODE OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS. THE CERTIFIED RETIREMENT COUNSELOR (CRC) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM CONTENT AND CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES ARE UPDATED ANNUALLY AND MADE RELEVANT TO THE PROFESSION BY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS. THE CRC IS INDEPENDENTLY ACCREDITED BY THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR CERTIFYING AGENCIES AND INFRE RELIES ON OUTSIDE CONSULTING SERVICES TO MAINTAIN RIGOROUS ACCREDITATION STANDARDS RELATED TO UPDATING THE COMPREHENSIVE CRC EXAMINATION, RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS, GOVERNANCE AND OTHER POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. ACCREDITATION MUST BE RENEWED EVERY 5 YEARS BY SUBMITTING A DETAILED APPLICATION.
