"DO THE WRITE THING" - THE PROGRAM APPEALS TO AT-RISK YOUTHS BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO WRITE ABOUT VIOLENCE. IT ENCOURAGES THEM TO FIND WAYS TO REDUCE VIOLENCE. YOUTHS SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS THROUGH WRITING AND SPEAKING. IN ORDER TO HELP RUN THIS PROGRAM, THE KUWAIT-AMERICA FOUNDATION, INC. (THE FOUNDATION) DONATED A VARIETY OF SERVICES AND EXPENSES TO THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH WERE VALUED AT $507,859. ADDITIONALLY, OTHER ORGANIZATIONS ALSO PROVIDED DONATED SERVICES TO THE ORGANIZATION WHICH WERE VALUED AT $605,400.
