HIPS PROVIDES DROP IN AND OUTREACH DIRECT SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS, AND THEIR COMMUNITIES, IMPACTED BY SEX WORK AND DRUG USE. PROGRAM ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A DROP IN CENTER, ACCESS TO HARM REDUCTION SUPPLIES, HIV PREVENTION MATERIALS, OVERDOSE EDUCATION AND PREVENTION MATERIALS, NON-MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT, HIV EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES, HOUSING NAVIGATION AND REFERRALS, INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING AND REFERRALS, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND SUPPORT GROUPS, PEER EDUCATION PROJECTS, LAUNDRY AND SHOWER ACCESS, HIV AND HEPATITIS C TESTING AND COUNSELING, COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER SERVICES, PEER ADVOCACY SERVICES, AND A COMPREHENSIVE MOBILE SERVICES PROGRAM TO CONNECT WITH STREET-BASED WORKERS, THAT RUN MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 11AM-6PM AND ON THE WEEKEND FROM FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY FROM 11PM TO 5.30AM.
