THE NATIONAL COALITION FOR HOMELESS VETERANS WILL END HOMELESSNESS AMONG VETERANS BY SHAPING PUBLIC POLICY, PROMOTING COLLABORATION, AND BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF SERVICE PROVIDERS.

EDUCATION PROGRAM TO FACILITATE NATIONAL AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS OF HOMELESS VETERANS AND ENCOURAGE FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT, AND COORDINATED, WELL-RESOURCED EFFORTS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL FOR HOMELESS VETERAN RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. OPERATE TOLL-FREE REFERRAL LINE TO CONNECT VETERANS IN A HOUSING CRISIS TO OPPORTUNITIES TO OBTAIN HOUSING, SHELTER, EMPLOYMENT, FINANCIAL, LEGAL, FOOD AND OTHER ASSISTANCE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.


TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONDUCT DIRECT TRAININGS ON IMPROVING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS AND LANDLORD ENGAGEMENT TO ACCELERATE EFFORTS TO END VETERAN HOMELESSNESS. CONDUCT PROVIDER AND VETERAN FOCUS GROUPS TO DEVELOP CONSENSUS AROUND GAPS FACED BY AGING VETERANS EXPERIENCING HOUSING INSTABILITY. EXECUTE LARGEST NATIONAL CONFERENCE SOLELY FOCUSED ON ACCELERATING AND IMPROVING NATIONAL EFFORTS TO END VETERAN HOMELESSNESS.


LEGISLATIVE EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY - TO WORK ON CAPITOL HILL, IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH, AND WITH FEDERAL AGENCIES TOWARD THE ADOPTION OF POLICY THAT WILL BENEFIT THE NATION'S VETERANS EXPERIENCING OR AT-RISK OF HOMELESSNESS.
