THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ASSIST PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS MOVE INTO PERMANENT AND INDEPENDENT LIVING. THE PROGRAMS ALSO PROVIDE SOCIAL SERVICES, SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING, AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES AT EACH LOCATION. THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAMS SERVED 245 CLIENTS DURING 2021.
THE WORK-BED PROGRAM PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT SERVICES AND A 24-HOUR TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR HOMELESS MEN. SERVICES INCLUDE A FULL RANGE OF EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, CASE MANAGEMENT, SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED SERVICES TO 73 CLIENTS DURING 2021.
SNAP E&T PROGRAM PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES TO FOOD STAMP ELIGIBLE CLIENTS. THE SERVICES INCLUDE JOB SKILL TRAINING, RESUME WRITING, JOB SEARCH AND INTERVIEW PREPAREDNESS, ETC,. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED SERVICES TO 125 CLIENTS DURING 2021.
AS PART OF ITS MISSION, THE COALITION'S SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY PROGRAM PROVIDES INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN WASHINGTON, D.C. WITH PLACES TO LIVE WHILE THESE RESIDENTS REMAIN SOBER AND CONTINUE THEIR RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE. THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO PLACE THESE RESIDENTS INTO PERMANENT HOUSING.
