THE J.W. FULBRIGHT PRIZE IS AN AWARD GIVEN ANNUALLY TO AN INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION THAT HAS MADE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARD BRINGING PEOPLES, CULTURES, OR NATIONS TO GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF OTHERS.


CHAPTERS - THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS 55 ACTIVE CHAPTERS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ORGANIZED AND OPERATED BY FULBRIGHT ALUMNI VOLUNTEERS. CHAPTERS RECEIVE FUNDS AND GUIDANCE FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION TO PLAN OUTREACH, ENRICHMENT AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE VISITING FULBRIGHT GRANTEES, FULBRIGHT ALUMNI AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN THEIR AREAS.


THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE THAT HIGHLIGHTS ACADEMIC RESEARCH, LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AND CHAPTER AWARDS.
