CHAPTERS - THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS 55 ACTIVE CHAPTERS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ORGANIZED AND OPERATED BY FULBRIGHT ALUMNI VOLUNTEERS. CHAPTERS RECEIVE FUNDS AND GUIDANCE FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION TO PLAN OUTREACH, ENRICHMENT AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE VISITING FULBRIGHT GRANTEES, FULBRIGHT ALUMNI AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN THEIR AREAS.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP - THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION IS A MEMBER ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ENGAGING AND SERVING APPROXIMATELY 9,000 FULBRIGHT PROGRAM ALUMNI IN THE UNITED STATES. THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF ALUMNI MEMBERS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING AND CULTURAL RESPECT. MEMBERS CONNECT TO EACH OTHER THROUGH ONLINE PLATFORMS, LOCAL EVENTS OFFERED THROUGH 55 CHAPTERS NATIONWIDE, AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES. THEY PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND GLOBAL SERVICE PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE ASSOCIATION TO WORK FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD IN THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD. INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM NETWORKING, CONNECTIONS TO FULBRIGHT ALUMNI, AND FROM SHARED SERVICE AND OUTREACH.
COMMUNICATIONS - THE ASSOCIATION FURTHERS THE MISSION OF THE FULBRIGHT PROGRAM BY BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A NETWORK OF ALUMNI. COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAMS CONNECT AND INFORM ALUMNI, ENGAGING THEM IN EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. COMMUNICATIONS, IN COORDINATION WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE, ALSO PROMOTES THE BRANDING AND AWARENESS OF THE FULBRIGHT PROGRAM.
