AIHA'S PARTNERSHIPS AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE BUILD THE CAPACITY OF THE HEALTH WORKFORCE AND STRENGTHEN HEALTH SYSTEMS TO IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES TO PREVENT, DETECT, AND TREAT DISEASE, FROM THE COMMUNITY TO THE NATIONAL LEVEL. AIHA DEVELOPS WORKFORCE CAPACITY OF A WIDE ARRAY OF HEALTH CARE AND ALLIED PROFESSIONALS FROM DOCTORS AND NURSES TO LAB TECHNICIANS AND SOCIAL WORKERS. AIHA LEVERAGES TWINNING PARTNERSHIPS AND OTHER FORMS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES, ADVANCE HEALTH AND GENDER EQUITY, TARGET MARGINALIZED AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS, INCREASE LOCAL OWNERSHIP, AND ENSURE PROGRAM IMPACT AND SUSTAINABILITY.
