TO CREATE A HOME AND COMMUNITY FOR HOMELESS MEN AND WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, TO PROVIDE HEALTH CARE AND RELATED SERVICES TO RESIDENTS IN THE HOUSE; TO COORDINATE THOSE SAME SERVICES FOR SOME FORMER RESIDENTS, AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE NEEDS OF HOMELESS MEN AND WOMEN LIVING WITH AND DYING FROM HIV/AIDS. THE JOSEPH'S HOUSE COMMUNITY PROVIDES AND COORDINATES HOLISTIC CARE FOR HOMELESS ADULTS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS.

SINCE 1990, JOSEPH'S HOUSE HAS PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE CARE IN WASHINGTON, DC TO ADULTS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS WHO ARE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS. EACH YEAR, WE WELCOME 20 RESIDENTS FROM THE DC, MARYLAND, AND VIRGINIA AREA, WHILE ALSO PROVIDING ONGOING SOCIAL, BEHAVORIAL HEALTH AND MEDICAL SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR 25 FORMER RESIDENTS. WE STILL PROVIDE SOME END OF LIFE CARE TO THOSE IN NEED.
