TO PROVIDE HOME REPAIRS TO LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS WHO LIVE IN BALTIMORE CITY AND BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, AND WHO ARE SENIORS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITES, AND FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES NO COST HOME REPAIRS TO HOWEOWNERS, FOCUSING ON REPAIRS THAT WILL MAKE HOMES WARMER, SAFER, DRIER AND MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT, AS WELL AS REPAIRS AMD IMPROVEMENTS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING REPAIRS FOR INDIVIDUAL HOMEOWNERS, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO COMPLETES COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS IN TWO TARGET NEIGHBORHOODS EACH YEAR. THE MAJORITY OF THE REPAIRS AND COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS ARE COMPLETED BY VOLUNTEERS. THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGES HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS TO WORK IN THE TARGET NEIGHBORHOODS FOR THE ANNUAL REBUILDING DAY EVENT, HELD EVERY APRIL. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES REPAIRS THROUGH ITS HANDYMAN PROGRAM AND THROUGH SPECIAL DAYS WITH CORPORATE PARTNERS.
