THE DATZ FOUNDATION IS LICENSED TO PERFORM HOMES STUDIES AND POST PLACEMENT ADOPTION SERVICES. FAMILIES REQUIRE A HOME STUDY BEFORE A COURT CAN FINALIZE AN ADOPTION. HOME STUDIES ARE ALSO REQUIRED FOR INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS AND FAMILIES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ADOPT ABROAD WITHOUT THIS SERVICE.
THE DATZ FOUNDATION IS LICENSED TO PLACE CHILDREN IN ADOPTION. THE AGENCY ACCEPTS CUSTODY OF CHILDREN AFTER OBTAINING THE VOLUNTARY CONSENT OF THE BIRTH PARENTS. THIS SERVES THE COMMUNITY IN THAT CHILDREN IN NEED OF PERMANENT HOMES ARE PLACED WITH QUALIFIED FAMILIES.
THE DATZ FOUNDATION IS AN ACCREDITED BY THE INTERCOUNTRY ADOPTION ACCREDITATION AND MAINTENANCE AGENCY. ALL FAMILIES ADOPTING ABROAD ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACCREDITED US BASED AGENCY MONITOR AND OVERSEE THEIR ADOPTION. THE DATZ FOUNDATION SERVICES AS THE "PRIMARY PROVIDER" FOR PERSONS SEEKING TO ADOPTION RELATIVES OR NO RELATED CHILDREN IN COUNTRIES ALLOWING PLACEMENTS INTO THE UNITED STATES.
