OPERATION OF A PUBLIC EXHIBITION AREA FOR FREDERICK COUNTY RESIDENTS VISITED BY OVER 83,000 PEOPLE EACH YEAR, AS WELL AS AN AREA FOR THE EXCHANGE OF ARTS INFORMATION INCLUDING SPECIAL LECTURES AND SEMINARS. OVER 50 ON-SITE EXHIBITS AND 12 OFF-SITE EXHIBITS WERE DISPLAYED AND A VARIETY OF ARTIST TALKS TOOK PLACE DURING THE YEAR.
OVER 250 INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC ON A VARIETY OF ARTS MEDIA. CLASSES ARE FOR ALL AGES AND ALL SKILL LEVELS. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PROVIDED FOR SENIOR CITIZENS, ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
