IT FUNCTIONS AS THE DESIGNATED TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (TMA) FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, AND ALSO SUPPORTS TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS IN THE BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON (B/W) CORRIDOR. AS A TMA, IT OPERATES ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS, SHUTTLE SERVICES AND DIRECT TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS. THE PARTNERSHIP ALSO PROMOTES ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT IN THE B/W CORRIDOR.

BEAUTIFICATION: PROVIDES ROADSIDE LITTER CLEAN-UP, REMOVAL/DISPOSAL OF LITTER WITHIN A 3 MILE RADIUS OF THE LIVE CASINO. REMOVAL OF DEBRIS, HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND OTHER UNDESIRABLE ITEMS; PERFORMING GRASS CUTTINGS IN COMMON AREAS AND PLANTS AND MAINTAINS VEGETATION WHICH IS AESTHETICALLY PLEASING TO THE COMMUNITY.
COUNTY CONNECTOR: THE COUNTY CONNECTOR IS A FREE SHUTTLE THAT CONNECTS WORKFORCE, JOBSEEKERS AND RESIDENTS TO ARUNDEL PRESERVE, DORCHESTER WOODS, MATHISON WAY, BWI MARSHALL AIRPORT, LIVE CASINO & HOTEL, ARUNDEL MILLS MALL AND BWI MARC/AMTRAK STATIONS TO EFFECTIVELY ACCESS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS AREA. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. THE SHUTTLE RUNS 365 DAYS A YEAR AND HAS EXTENDED HOURS.
MARYLAND AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: FUNCTION AS A SUPPORT ORGANIZATION FOR BWI MARSHALL AIRPORT PROVIDING ASSISTANCE WITH PARTNERSHIP/MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES TO LINK THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY WITH THE AIRPORT. PROVIDE COORDINATION, LIAISON AND ADVOCACY FUNCTIONS, MONITORING RELEVANT LEGISLATION IMPACTING BWI MARSHALL AIRPORT AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
