Part 3 - Line 4a

THE CRMC FOUNDATION HAD A VERY SUCCESSFUL FY2022 (JULY 1 2021-JUNE 30, 2022), PROCESSING 570 GIFTS FROM 249 DONORS. HOWEVER, IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT OPERATIONS CONTINUED TO BE IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THESE CHALLENGES ARE PRIMARILY CENTERED AROUND OUR ROSTER OF EVENTS NOT BEING FULLY BACK TO PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS. TO OFFER SOME DEGREE OF CONTINUITY, THE FOUNDATION'S WINE TASTING WAS CONVERTED TO A SUCCESSFUL "TO-GO" EXPERIENCE AND THE HONOR ROLL OF WOMEN AND TREE OF LIFE EVENTS WERE ABLE TO TAKE PLACE VIRTUALLY. THE ANNUAL GALA, CRAB FEAST AND GOLF EVENT WERE POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT YEAR. AMONG THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FOUNDATION WAS THE CONTINUATION OF OUR GRANT WRITING EFFORTS. THE EXPANSION OF THE FOUNDATION'S GRANT WRITING WILL CONTINUE TO BE A FOCUS IN YEARS TO COME. THE CRMC FOUNDATION ALSO SUCCESSFULLY BEGAN CONVERSATIONS WITH FELLOW UMMS FOUNDATIONS TO IDENTIFY WAYS TO LEVERAGE OUR COLLECTIVE EFFORTS TO YIELD MORE SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT. THE BOARD REMAINS FULLY COMMITTED TO CARRYING OUT THE MISSION AND VISION OF THE FOUNDATION AND MAINTAINING ITS REPUTATION AS ONE OF THE TOP NON-PROFITS IN THE REGION.
