THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED TO USE FUNDS DONATED BY IFA MEMBERS AND OTHERS, AND OTHER FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, TO FULFILL EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES, TO PROMOTE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND TO EXPAND THE KNOWLEDGE AND AWARENESS OF FRANCHISING. THE FOUNDATION ALSO CONDUCTS AND SUPPORTS RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF FRANCHISING, AND PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ENGAGED IN BUSINESS STUDIES AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
