GRASSROOTS OUTREACH: MEATOUT IS OBSERVED ON MARCH 20 EACH YEAR AND INCLUDES DEMONSTRATIONS, TABLING, AND GOVERNMENT PROCLAMATIONS CALLING ON U.S. RESIDENTS TO TAKE ANIMALS OFF THEIR PLATES FOR ONE DAY. ON OCTOBER 2ND, WORLD DAY FOR FARMED ANIMALS (WDFA) IS AN ANNUAL GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION DEDICATED TO EXPOSING, MOURNING, AND MEMORIALIZING THE MORE THAN 65 BILLION FARMED ANIMALS THAT ARE BRED, RAISED, AND KILLED FOR FOOD AROUND THE WORLD. PUBLIC ADVOCACY: FARM'S EDLETTERS PROGRAM HAS BEEN LINKING THE BENEFITS OF A PLANT-BASED DIET AND VEGAN LIFESTYLE TO CURRENT NEWS DEVELOPMENTS OR NATIONAL HOLIDAYS.
