TRADE SHOWS - MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN TABLETOP AND ROOM SHOWS TWO TIMES A YEAR TO MAKE CONTACT WITH OTHER MEMBERS, INTRODUCE THEIR NEW PRODUCTS AND MARKET THEIR EXISTING PRODUCTS. 200-400 ATTENDEES ARE SERVED AT EACH SHOW. FOR 2021, A VIRTUAL TRADE SHOW WAS ADDED DUE TO COVID. APPROXIMATELY 100 PEOPLE AND 50 EXHIBITORS ATTENDED THE VIRTUAL TRADE SHOW.
SEMINARS, MEETINGS, SPECIAL EVENTS - APPROXIMATELY 24 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WEBINARS AND A SMALL NUMBER OF CASUAL NETWORKING EVENTS, PLUS A FACTORY TOUR AND AN OCCASIONAL IN-PERSON EDUCATION EVENT ARE HELD EACH YEAR FOR THE MEMBERS. 20-40 ATTENDEES ARE SERVED AT THESE IN-PERSON EVENTS, A VARYING NUMBER FOR THE WEBINARS AND 30-40 FOR THE FACTORY TOURS AND EDUCATION EVENTS.
EDUCATION ONE $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP WAS AWARDED TO A COLLEGE STUDENT EARNING CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS BUT WAS PAID OUT IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. THIS SCHOLARSHIP WAS GIVEN TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND OUR INDUSTRY. ONE $500 SCHOLARSHIP WAS AWARDED TO AN INDIVIDUAL TO PURSUE THEIR INDUSTRY DESIGNATION THROUGH CEUS, BUT HAS NOT YET BEEN UTILIZED BY THE STUDENT.
