CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: THIS PROGRAM SEEKS TO EDUCATE, MOBILIZE, AND INTEGRATE THE LATINO COMMUNITY IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN AMERICAN DEMOCRACY. WE ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH OUR NATURALIZATION, CIVIC INTEGRATION, AND VOTER EDUCATION AND MOBILIZATION PROGRAMS AT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY LEVEL.
CONSTITUENCY SERVICES: THIS LATINO PROGRAM PROMOTES THE GOVERNANCE AND POLICYMAKING SUCCESS OF LATINO OFFICIALS THROUGH 8 INSTITURES HELD THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY THAT FOCUS ON ENERGY, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, SCHOOL GOVERNANCE, EARLY LEARNING, HIGHER EDUCATION AND NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS.
POLICY, RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY: SUPPORTS THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION AND THE FORMULATION OF POLICY WITH RESPECT TO ISSUES RELATING TO LATINO ACCESS TO THE POLITICAL SYSTEM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SPONSORS RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS ON ISSUES RELATING TO THE PARTICIPATION OF LATINOS IN THE AMERICAN POLITICAL SYSTEM.
