PROVIDED GENERAL OPERATING GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN MARYLAND TO CONDUCT HUMANITIES-BASED PROGRAMS WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON PROGRAMS THAT FEATURED CIVIC DIALOGUE AND ENGAGEMENT.
PROVIDED PUBLIC PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT MARYLAND TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL HISTORICAL EVENTS AND IMPROVE RESEARCH AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND VARIOUS OTHER HUMANITIES DISCIPLINES.
