INSTRUCTION, RESEARCH AND CLINICAL PRACTICE:EDUCATION AND RELATED SERVICES (E.G., ROOM AND BOARD) ARE PROVIDED TO OVER 32,000 STUDENTS INCLUDING APPROXIMATELY 17,000 FULL-TIME AND 15,000 PART-TIME STUDENTS. RESEARCH AND RELATED SERVICES (E.G., RESEARCH TRAINING) ARE PROVIDED THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 2,300 GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE SPONSORS. THE UNIVERSITY REMAINS A LEADER AMONG THE NATION'S RESEARCH UNIVERSITIES. UNIVERSITY RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS ARE AVAILABLE AT WWW.JHU.EDU. PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY'S FACULTY TO PATIENTS AT THE JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL AND OTHER HOSPITALS AND OUTPATIENT CARE FACILITIES IN THE BALTIMORE AREA.

TRADITIONALLY THESE SERVICES INCLUDE; FOOD SERVICES, STUDENT HOUSING AND BOOKSTORES. ALSO REFLECTED IN THIS CATEGORY ARE ACTIVITIES RELATED TO VENDING MACHINES, BUS SERVICE AND ATHLETIC CONCESSIONS.
