INSTRUCTION- INCLUDES 5 ACADEMIC SCHOOLS; SCHOOL OF ARTS & SCIENCES, ROWLAND SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION, CONVERSATORY OF PERFORMING ARTS, AND SCHOOL OF EDUCATION, SERVING 2,418 UNDERGRADUATE AND 870 GRADUATE STUDENTS (FALL 2022 CENSUS), AS WELL AS THE PITTSBURGH PLAYHOUSE WHICH PROVIDE APPLIED TRAINING FOR STUDENTS. POPULAR AREAS OF STUDY ARE CRIMINAL JUSTICE & NATIONAL SECURITY, HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES, LITERARY ARTS, NATURAL SCIENCES & ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY, PSYCHOLOGY, ACCOUNTING, ECONOMICS, FINANCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, SPORTS, ARTS, & ENTERTAINMENT MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATIONS, CINEMA ARTS, DANCE, THEATRE, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, & EDUCATION.
