AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES: THE SCHOOL UNDERTAKES A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT THE STUDENT BODY, INCLUDING OPERATING HOUSING (DORMITORY) COMPLEXES, A CAFETERIA, CAMPUS BOOK STORE, VENDING MACHINES, AND OTHER INCIDENTALS NECESSARY TO CAMPUS LIFE. THESE ACTIVITIES MIGHT ALSO INCLUDE STUDENT SERVICES, INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT, ACADEMIC SUPPORT, PUBLIC SERVICE, AND OTHER SERVICES.
THE MISSION OF THE OFFICE OF THE ASSOCIATE PROVOST FOR RESEARCH (OAPR) IS "TO PROVIDE THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ADMITTED QUALITY RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE OVERALL UNIVERSITY COMMITMENT." THE RESEARCH DIVISION IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING AN INFRASTRUCTURE WITHIN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES BOTH FACULTY AND STUDENTS TO PRODUCE RESEARCH WITH RESULTS THAT ARE MAKING OUR WORLD BETTER EVERY DAY.
