DEDICATED TO UNITE BOOSTER CLUBS IN WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE WELFARE AND ENRICHMENT OF MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING FOR FACILITIES EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS WHICH PROMOTE THE EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES OF THE STUDENTS OF CONESTOGA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT.

TOURNAMENTS, CAMPS, CLINICS - ATHLETIC CLINICS PROVIDE STUDENT ATHLETES OF VARYING ABILITIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE COACHING INSTRUCTION TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE. ATHLETIC TOURNAMENTS PROVIDE THE STUDENT ATHLETES THE ABILITY TO COMPETE AT DIFFERENT LEVELS WITH OTHER STUDENT ATHLETES FROM REGIONAL AREAS TO STATE AND NATIONAL LEVELS. THE FUNDRAISING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR HELPS TO SUPPORT THE COSTS OF SENDING THE STUDENT ATHLETES TO CLINICS AND TOURNAMENTS. THE TOURNAMENTS SPONSORED BY THE BOOSTER CLUBS CHARGE ADMISSIONS TO FUND THE PROGRAM.
END OF SEASON BANQUETS - BOOSTER CLUBS HELP TO SUPPORT THE COST OF THE END OF SEASON AWARDS BANQUETS FOR THE STUDENT ATHLETES. THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN A SPORT ARE RECOGNIZED AND COMMENDED FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PARTICIPATION AND SPORTSMANSHIP. FUNDRAISING EVENTS DURING THE YEAR HELP TO SUPPORT THAT COST OF THE BANQUETS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES: THIS INCLUDES EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $164,480 BY THE BOOSTER CLUBS OF THE CONSORTIUM FOR EQUIPMENT, RECONDITIONING OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT ITEMS, UNIFORMS, WARM UP GEAR, PRACTICE CLOTHING, TEAM APPAREL, TEAM BUILDING PROGRAMS, PROGRAMS/ROSTERS, VARIOUS PRACTICE SUPPLIES FOR COACHES AND TEAM MEMBERS.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: THE ORGANIZATION SPENT SEVERAL YEARS PLANNING FOR A CAPITAL PROJECT WHICH INVOLVED RENOVATIONS TO THE ATHLETIC STADIUM. THESE FACILITIES WERE OLD AND OUT DATED. THE ORGANIZATION OBTAINED PROPOSALS ON THE COST TO RENOVATE THE STADIUM AND THEN INITIATED A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN TO RAISE MONEY TO PAY TOWARDS THIS PROJECT. THE RENOVATIONS BEGAN JUNE 2014 AND WERE SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE IN SEPTEMBER 2014. CONESTOGA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT FLOATED A BOND ISSUE TO PAY FOR THE COSTS OF THE RENOVATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION CONTRIBUTES MONEY TO CONESTOGA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE A LEVEL OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT NOT TO EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF DEBT SERVICE COSTS BEING INCURRED BY CONESTOGA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE AMOUNT CONTRIBUTED WAS $70,126.
