THE FLORIDA DISTRICT EXPORT COUNCIL ("FDEC") CONTRIBUTES LEADERSHIP AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE EXPERTISE TO THE US COMMERICAL SERIVE'S EXPORT PROMOTION EFFORTS. IT DOES THIS THROUGH COUNSELING BUSINESSES ON THE EXPORTING PROCESS, AS WELL AS CONDUCTING TRADE EDUCATION AND CONNUMITY OUTREACH. THE FDEC BRINGS TOGETHER EXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PEOPLE WHO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS. OUR MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT EXPORTS, SO AS TO STRENGTHEN SMAL AND MEDIUM SIZE U.S COMPANIES. THE FDEC MENTORS EXPORTERS AND WORKS IN CLOSE COORDINATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE SPECIALISTS AT THE US COMMERICAL SERVICE'S U.S. EXPORT ASSISTANCE CENTERS THROUGHOUT FLORIDA IN ORDER TO CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR FLORIDA'S EXPORTERS. THE FDEC ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION THROUGH THE CREATION AND DELVERY OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH ALLIED TRADE ORGANIZATIONS IN ORGANIZING EVENTS THAT INTRODUCE POTENTIAL TRADING PARTNERS.

THE FLORIDA DISTRICT EXPORT COUNCIL ("FDEC") HELD MULTIPLE SEMINARS WITH THE GOAL OF PROVIDING EXPORT TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS REPRESENTING SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESSES THAT WERE NEW TO EXPORT OR HAD ALREADY EXPORTED AND WERE INTERESTED IN ENTERING NEW MARKETS.
