THE CENTER PARTICIPATES IN THE FARM HERITAGE TRAIL EVENTS SPONSORED BY BUNCOMBE COUNTYS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION SERVICE. TOURS AND PLANT WALKS ARE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO HELP EXPAND THE WIDER COMMUNITYS AWARENESS OF ECOLOGICAL CONSERVATION AND THE NEED FOR WIDESPREAD IMPLEMENTATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS AND APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGIES.
