LEADINGAGE CONNECTICUT IS AN ASSOCIATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING THE QUALITY OF SERVICES AND CARE FOR OLDER ADULTS AND CHRONICALLY ILL INDIVIDUALS IN THE SETTING OF THEIR CHOICE BY LEADING, EDUCATING, REPRESENTING, ADVOCATING AND SERVICING ITS MEMBERS WHO ARE MISSION-DRIVEN, NOT-FOR-PROFIT PROVIDERS REPRESENTING THE CONTINUUM.

TO ASSURE HEALTHY, AFFORDABLE AND ETHICAL HOUSING, SERVICES AND CARE FOR OLDER ADULTS AND THE CHRONICALLY ILL AND TO PROMOTE RECOGNITION OF THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT PROVIDERS OF SUCH HOUSING, SERVICES AND CARE. THIS IS DONE THROUGH PUBLIC POLICY ADVOCACY AND THROUGH THE PUBLIC PROMOTION OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT SERVICES, SUPPORTS AND HOUSING FOR OLDER ADULTS AND THE CHRONICALLY ILL IN CONNECTICUT. SUCH PUBLIC PROMOTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, AN INFORMATIONAL WEBSITE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC AND INFORMATIONAL CONSUMER PUBLICATIONS.


TO PRODUCE AND PROMOTE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE AGING SERVICES WORKFORCE AND THE LEADERSHIP TEAMS OF OUR MEMBERS. SUCH OPPORTUNITIES ARE INCLUSIVE OF THE FULL CONTINUUM OF LONG TERM SERVICES, SUPPORTS AND HOUSING AND INCLUDE MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS TO PROMOTE THE MUTUAL EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND IDEAS, MEETINGS OF PROFESSIONAL COUNCILS AND ROUNDTABLES, FREQUENT EDUCATION PROGRAMS, A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, AND AN ANNUAL TRADE SHOW AND CONFERENCE.
