THE WOODSTOCK HOTEL IS A SUPPORTIVE SRO (SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY) RESIDENTIAL BUILDING FOR 291 ADULTS WHO HAVE EITHER BEEN FORMALLY HOMELESS OR HAVE INCOMES BELOW 80% OF AREA MEDIAN AND ARE AT LEAST 55 YEARS OF AGE. THERE ARE SIX SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE BUILDING WHO PROVIDE SERVICES TO INCLUDE ESCORTS TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING BENEFITS FOR TENANTS SUCH AS FOOD STAMPS, HEALTH INSURANCE AND HOME CARE SERVICES. THE NUMBER OF TENANTS WITH PRIMARY CARE PHYCIANS AND HEALTH CARE PROXIES HAVE INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY.
