THE 2021 ANNUAL MEETING AND EXHIBITION VIRTUALLY BROUGHT TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE DIABETES CARE AND EDUCATION SPECIALISTS COMMUNITY. THIS IS CONSIDERED THE PREMIER EVENT FOR DIABETES EDUCATION, CARE AND DELIVERY, MEETING THE ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVES TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE PRACTICE GUIDELINES AND COMPETENCIES FOR DIABETES CARE AND EDUCATION SPECIALISTS.
CONTINUING EDUCATION REMAINS THE KEY TO MAINTAINING BEST PRACTICES IN DIABETES CARE. ADCES EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS PROVIDE DIABETES CARE AND EDUCATIONAL SPECIALISTS THE TOOLS, TRAINING AND RESOURCES NECESSARY TO HELP THEIR PATIENTS ACCOMPLISH DIABETES SELF-MAINTENANCE GOALS. MULTIDISCIPLINARY EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE CAREER PATH TARGETED AND INCLUDE COURSES, SEMINARS, WEBINARS, PUBLICATIONS, PRINT MATERIALS AND ONLINE RESOURCES.
EXECUTIVE AFFAIRS ENCOMPASSES LIAISON EFFORTS WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING DIABETES EDUCATION AND PREVENTION.
