FOR YOUNG CHILDREN,IT MEANS HAVING A SAFE HOME WITH ADEQUATE FOOD, CLOTHES, HEAT, HEALTHCARE AND NOT BEING SUBJECTED TO NEGLECT OR ABUSE. THIS NORMALLY RESULTS IN CHILDREN BEING ABLE TO FIND A DAY CARE PROVIDER, BE ENROLLED IN KINDERGARTEN OR ENTER THE FIRST GRADE. YOUTH HAVE SIMILAR NEEDS AND DEMONSTRATE SUCCESS BY ADVANCING IN SCHOOL AND BEING ENGAGED IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES LIKE SPORTS, HUNTING, FISHING OR HOBBIES. FOR ADULTS, SAFE, AFFORDABLE AND ACCOMMODATING HOUSING IS IMPORTANT AS WELL AS ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE AND HAVING MEANINGFUL ACTIVITY. FOR ADULTS THIS MAY BE FURTHERING ONE'S EDUCATION, VOLUNTEERING AND HAVING EMPLOYMENT. FOR SENIORS AND OTHERS IMPACTED BY ALZHEIMER'S OR RELATED DEMENTIA, IT MEANS ASSISTING THEM TO LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY AS LONG AS POSSIBLE THROUGH ACCESS TO A DAY CARE.
