TO LEAD AND PROMOTE GOOD WORKING CONDITIONS FOR OUR MEMBERS, AS WELL AS PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THEM FOR EMPLOYMENT CONCERNS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TRAINING - WE CONDUCT AN ANNUAL TRAINING WORKSHOP THAT IS OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS. WE PAY THE EXPENSES OF ALL OF THE TRAINERS AND THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE. PERSONS ATTENDING THE TRAINING SESSIONS PAY FOR THEIR OWN EXPENSES. WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 50 VOLUNTEERS THAT TRAIN AS WELL AS MANY OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS. AFFILIATE WORKSHOPS HELD ON-SITE TRAINING.


ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING - WE HAVE AN ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING WHERE A BUDGET IS PRESENTED AND VOTED UPON. WE ALSO ELECT THE MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING BODY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. THESE ARE OUR OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS. THE PERSONS ATTENDING THE ANNUAL MEETING ARE ELECTED TO REPRESENT THEIR STATE AFFILIATE AND EACH AFFILIATE IS ALLOCATED A NUMBER OF REPRESENTATIVES THEY MAY SEND TO THIS MEETING. THE NUMBER OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR EACH STATE IS DETERMINED BY A FORMULA.


LEGAL, REPRESENTATION AND BARGAINING - WE ADVOCATE AND REPRESENT MEMBERS IN BARGAINING, GRIEVANCES, ARBITRATIONS AND REBATE ARBITRATION EXPENSES.
