ANIMAL SHELTERING/ADOPTION SERVICES: DHA HAS SHELTER SPACE FOR APPROXIMATELY 120 CATS AND 50 DOGS. DHA PROVIDES CARE FOR THESE ANIMALS WHILE TRYING TO PLACE THEM IN PERMANENT HOMES THROUGH ADOPTION BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.
SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES: DHA SPAYS AND NEUTERS ALL ANIMALS PRIOR TO ADOPTION. IF NEEDED, THESE SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AT A LOW COST.
PET OWNER SERVICES/COMMUNITY OUTREACH: DHA PROVIDES SERVICES, SUCH AS LOW-COST VACCINATIONS AND IDENTIFYING MICROCHIPS FOR THEIR PETS, TO EXISTING PET OWNERS AT COMMUNITY WELLNESS CLINICS. ADDITIONALLY, DHA ASSISTS IN PROVIDING PET OWNERS WITH OBEDIENCE TRAINING, LICENSING, AND GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP.
