SINCE 1994 MERCY COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION, A NON-PROFIT SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION FOR ASCENSION VIA CHRISTI MANHATTAN, HAS BEEN RAISING SUPPORT TO FOSTER GROWTH, EXPANSION, AND IMPROVEMENTS OF LOCAL HEALTHCARE. IN RECENT YEARS, OUR PRIMARY EMPHASIS HAS BEEN UPGRADES AND INSTALLATION OF STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE OUR PHYSICIANS AND CLINICIANS HAVE THE FINEST AND LATEST TECHNOLOGY TO CARE FOR OUR PATIENTS' HEALTHCARE NEEDS. OTHER PROGRAMS AND EQUIPMENT SUPPORTED IN FY 2022 INCLUDE: PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE FOR UNINSURED OR UNDERINSURED PATIENTS, EMERGENCY HARDSHIP ASSISTANCE FOR EMPLOYEES, SLEEP SACKS FOR NEWBORNS, A CAR SIMULATOR FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY PATIENTS, AND CONTINUING EDUCATION ASSISTANCE FOR EMPLOYEES.
