VIA CHRISTI VILLAGE GEORGETOWN IS AN ASSISTED AND INDEPENDENT LIVING INSPIRED BY THE HEALING MISSION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO THE ELDERLY WHICH PROVIDES CARE TO RESIDENTS THAT MAXIMIZES DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENCE. ROOTED IN THE CATHOLIC TRADITION OF CARING, AS A CORPORATE MEMBER OF ASCENSION HEALTH SENIOR CARE, OUR COMMUNITY IS CONTINUALLY DEVELOPING AND ADOPTING NEW BEST PRACTICES IN CARE THAT ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR RESIDENTS. THE STAFF IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELL-BEING OF THOSE WE SERVE THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY CARE. THE ASSISTED LIVING (AL) HAS 68 UNITS WITH AN AVERAGE OCCUPANCY OF 46 OR 67.6% AND THE INDEPENDENT LIVING HAS 139 UNITS WITH AN AVERAGE OCCUPANCY OF 93 OR 45.1% IN 2021. AS PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY, THE FILING ORGANIZATION SERVED IN SUPPORT OF ASCENSION'S COMMITMENT TO BOTH CARE FOR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATES THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC IN FY21.
