THE MISSION OF THE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION IS TO EMPOWER AND ASSIST YOUTH, FAMILIES AND ADULTS IN OUR COMMUNITY TO ACHIEVE OPTIMAL MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND SERVICE.

FAMILY AND CHILDREN SERVICES- OUR CHILDREN'S AND FAMILY COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES PROGRAMS PROVIDE INDIVIDUALIZE INTERVENTION, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND MENTORING FOR CHILDREN DEALING WITH A SERIOUS EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE AND THEIR FAMILIES. CHILDREN WITH A SERIOUS EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE RECEIVE INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT TO INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT AND ATTENDANT CARE. FAMILIES WHO ARE STRUGGLING, OR IDENTIFIED AS AT-RISK, RECEIVE GROUP AND INDIVIDUALIZED FAMILY STABILIZATION SERVICES. FOCUS IS PLACED ON THE FAMILY UNIT, WITH ALL MEMBERS PARTICIPATING IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.


ADULT SERVICES- MHA'S ADULT COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES WORK TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ADULTS WHO HAVE A SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS BY HELPING THE INDIVIDUAL MANAGE THEIR ILLNESS IN ORDER TO LEAD A HEALTHY, PRODUCTIVE LIFE. SERVICES AND TREATMENT PLANS ARE INDIVIDUALIZED TO PROMOTE RECOVERY AND INDEPENDENCE. WE PROMOTE INCREASING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, ENHANCING PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WHILE BUILDING COPING STRATEGIES AND DAILY LIVING SKILLS.


THERAPY - MHA'S COUNSELING CENTER OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES TO GUIDE INDIVIDUALS THROUGH LIFE'S CHALLENGES AND MOST TRYING TIMES. SERVICES INCLUDE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY, EDUCATION, MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, AND ADDICTIONS TREATMENT SERVICES. ALL SERVICES ARE INDIVIDUALIZED TO MEET THE PATIENT'S NEEDS AND GOALS.
