THE SAFEHOUSE CRISIS CENTER SHELTERED 228 UNDUPLICATED VICTIMS FOR A TOTAL NUMBER OF SHELTER UNITS OF 5,514, REPRESENTING AN AVERAGE OF 16 VICTIMS PER DAY. THE SAFEHOUSE CRISIS CENTER HOUSES THE CHILD EXCHANGE AND VISITATION CENTER IN PITTSBURG AND PROVIDES FAMILIES IN CRISIS WITH CHILD AND EXCHANGE VISITATION SERVICES. ADDITIONALLY, THE SAFEHOUSE CRISIS CENTER WORKS WITH ALL ADULT AND CHILD VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT ON PERSONAL SAFETY PLANS AND MAKES AVAILABLE THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS WITH COMMUNITY AGENCIES ON SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING, PARENTING SKILLS, SELF-DEFENSE, NUTRITION, BANKING AND BUDGETING, AND OTHER LIFE SKILLS.
