OUR ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY (THOSE 60 AND OVER OR THE SPOUSE OF SOMEONE 60 OR OVER). THESE SERVICES INCLUDE A MEALS PROGRAM. OVER 200 MEALS A WEEK ARE PROVIDED DURING THE YEAR, INCLUDING MEALS FOR SHUT-INS.NEWSLETTERS ARE PUBLISHED EACH MONTH. BROCHURES EXPLAINING THE SERVICES PROVIDED ARE PRINTED EACH YEAR. ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED TO THOSE APPLYING FOR PUBLIC BENEFITS, THOSE COMPLETING TAX FORMS, AND THOSE SIGNING UP FOR OR CHANGING MEDICARE PLANS.NUTRITION EDUCATION IS PROVIDED FOUR TIMES A YEAR.MONTHLY HEALTH PROGRAMS ARE HELD. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE BLOOD PRESSURE AND OXYGEN LEVEL CHECKS, BLOOD SUGAR CHECKS, AND OTHER HEALTH RELATED PRESENTATIONS. AN EXERCISE GROUP MEETS THREE TIMES A WEEK.
