VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATION; TO PROMOTE PATRIOTISM; TO MAINTAIN AND EXTEND THE INSTITUTIONS OF AMERICAN FREEDOM. THE VFW SPONSORS MORE THAN 500 SERVICE PROJECTS AND DONATES OVER 8,000 HOURS ANNUALLY TO SERVE OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITES FOR MEMBERS. 655 MEMBERS. SPONSOR PROGRAMS AND EVENTS FOR MILITARY HOLIDAYS AND ITEMS OF INTEREST TO OUR VERTANS. MONITOR LEGISLATION FOR ETERANS RIGHTS, PRINT AND MAIL INFORMATIVE NEWSLETTER, PROVIDE CANTEEN FACILITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT, HONOR FALLEN COMRADES WITH MILITARY HONORS, DECORATE CEMETERIES WITH AMERICAN FLAGS. VETERANS PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, DISTRCT, STATE AND NATIONAL CONVENTION PARTICIPATION


SUPPORT OF VETERANS, MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE VOLUNTEER IN MANY ASPECTS TO ASSIST ALL VETERANS, MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS SCUH AS ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITY BILLS, CHILD CARE, FOOD, CLOTHING, HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES. WE PROVIDE MILITARY HONORS AND FUNERAL DINNERS FOR NON-MEMBER VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDE MEETING SPACE FOR OTHER VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, FAMILY READINESS GROUPS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.


COMMUNITY SERVICE AND VOLUNTEERS. MEMBERS CONDUCT MANY ACTIVITIES TO BENEFIT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER MANY HOURS IN SERVICE OF YOUTH ACTIVITIES, SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS, JROTC RECOGNITION, HOSPITALS AND CHARITABL ORGANIZATIONS, HOMELESS SHLTERS, PROGRAMS, PARADES AND EVENTS.
